Boy, Nvidia and Microsoft are sure getting chummy, huh? Just a couple of weeks after Microsoft added Xbox account syncing and Game Pass titles to the GeForce Now streaming service, Nvidia is throwing in three months of the PC version of Game Pass with new RTX card purchases. That’s on top of the expected GeForce Now freebies. Not bad, especially if you picked up one of the cards on a Black Friday or Cyber Monday discount.
According to Nvidia’s promotional page, buyers of just about any RTX 40-series card will qualify for three free months of Microsoft’s PC Game Pass subscription. That includes the RTX 4060, 4060 Ti, 4070, 4070 Ti, 4080, and 4090. Buyers in North America and much of Europe also get three free months of GeForce Now Priority access, which as we’ve already reported, is a peanut butter-and-chocolate situation now that the two platforms work together. Anyone who buys six months of GeForce Now Ultimate also gets three months of PC Game Pass.
To redeem your freebies, install your new graphics card, install the GeForce Experience app, then go to the Account drop-down menu and click “REDEEM.” Most cards from both Nvidia and its OEM partners should qualify, so long as the purchase was fairly recent and from a major retailer.
